bunny freak, I love to watch 'em dancin' cheek to cheek
sneak up on 'em when they're nappin' hard out in the yard
their little mouths a'twitchin', munchin' goodies in their sleep

even ones that I've been told at least 3 times this week

I'm jus' sayin' it's a bad hare day.....

darn those kids they spilled their breakfast, they're messy as pigs with a pail
but hold up just a minute.....those aren't Cocoa Puffs
and there's a rabbit at the end of that trail

I tried to make a call from the phone in the hall.....no dial tone, the thing has gone dead
then I see the cord....it's in pieces, two pieces
I just start shaking my head

......guess I didn't need to make that call anyway

after supper, wanna watch some TV but the remote's no where to be found
then I hear the nibbling under the couch
the buttons all completely chewed down

but it was just a trick and they're giggling, then asking,
"since you're up can you bring us a snack?"
